How can I schedule an appointment?

The quickest way to schedule is online: Schedule here. The QR code on your letter also takes you to the scheduling site.

Our installation technicians work Monday–Thursday. You’ll choose a time window: 9–11, 11–1, 2–4, or 4–6.

What will the Installation Technician be doing?

The technician will install a new RF transmitter. If the Utility requires a meter replacement, they will remove the existing meter and install a new encoder-style meter plus the transmitter. Depending on the product, the transmitter may be mounted outside with wire connecting the devices.

How long will the installation process take?

Most installs take 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the RF transmitter.

Is it necessary for someone to be at home during installation?

Yes if your meter is inside the premises (an adult 18+ must be present). If the meter is outside in the yard, you do not need to be home.

How can I confirm the person at the door is a NECO technician?

NECO/AllDrive installation technicians carry proper identification and have marked vehicles. Your local Water Utility and Police Department have a list of technicians and their vehicles—call them if you’d like to verify.
